Magazine Mockups

Visual Mockups- Front Cover

I decided to lay out my front covers like this as I feel as though it would provide more text for information and leaves enough space for my main image and other characteristics like the masthead and headlines.

Survey Analysis

this shows that the majority of people I would be looking at for my target audience would be between the ages of 16 and 18. So i would be making my magazine into more of an informal style so it looks more appealing to them.

This shows me that most of my target audience would be still in school as it has a clear majority of students but it also shows some are in work at this moment.

This slide shows me that most people prefer Pop music as it is the most common style/ genre of music.

From this slide it shows me that the majority of people have finished their GCSE's. However this doesn't tell me if they are currently doing A-Levels or if they are in work. If I link this back to my previous slide then it tells me that more would be doing their A-levels.

This question shows me that most people don't buy music magazines which means that I am going to have to do more to my magazine to make it more appealing to my target audience with the aim of getting more people to buy them.

This question shows a similar theme as it shows that very few people actually read magazines so yet again I would have to try to make it stand out more so more people would read it.

This question shows that most people expect the pricing of a magazine to be between £1 and £3 so I would make the price of my magazine within that range.

Mastheads

I have selected these names and designs for my magazines as I feel as though it best fits the conventions of a hip-hop music magazine. So I can decide which looks the best for my magazine
